Amanda Li
- 2026–2027 Orchestra
- Flute Player
Biography
Amanda Li began studying the flute in second grade, opening the door to her musical journey. In primary school, she joined her school orchestra, where ensemble rehearsals taught her the joy of listening and blending across sections. After entering middle school, she continued to take part in school flute performances and steadily built her stage experience.
Beyond school performances, Amanda has appeared as a soloist at the Shangyin Opera House. Performing in a professional concert venue strengthened both her stage confidence and her musical expression. In 2023, she received a Gold Award in the Young Master category of the London Young Musician international competition.
Years of flute study have led Amanda to explore both solo repertoire and orchestral playing. She loves the flute’s clear, lively sound and the process of working with others to communicate musical emotion. She looks forward to continuing her musical exploration with PHantasia and presenting works in many different styles on the flute.
